Pre-Existing Assets Used to Make This Game:
-The platformer physics code
-The font
-The sound effects (but not the music)
All the above were made by me, just not within the jam window. The rest was made within the jam window. No generative AI was used.
OH YEAH! The quote on Tape 3 is from Lord Dunsany's The Gods of Pegāna which is public domain but was made outside of the jam window by about 120 years.

I think the base concept you had here has really cool potential, I just feel like if falls a bit off in certain places. Having to fiddle around with my backpack, to be able to time tight platforming movement to me broke the “flow” of the game. The concepts themself are great, I just think it would befit a slower paced adventure. Sound and music effects are waaay to loud for a normal usecase setting, next time check those before you publish. Other than these, nice entry.

I...don't know what I expected, but it wasn't that.  Which means I was very pleasantly surprised.  Looking forward to part two, apparently?
