I love this game! I am having a really hard time getting through one part though because the bird moves up slightly when you pop the bubble, and I keep dying. It is also a little annoying to have to start from the beginning each time I open up the game. Edit: Actually, it's pretty satisfying to play the same few levels trying to get back to my previous spot and defeating them with ease.
It's good, but it would be better if you could press up (or w) to jump. I don't mind having space work for jumping too, but the obvious way to go up is to press up. There's no reason it shouldn't work.
You can? I missed that. It still would be nice if it was jump when not in a bubble. I've died several times by trying to slow down falling by holding jump, but hitting it too late and jumping out of a bubble.
Interesting game design with backtracking but some segments, especially with saws, are have lack of checkpoints Also there's some moments with pixel hunting shit It would be cool if there was coyote-jump and less pixel hunting moments Btw spikes and maybe saws have unclear collisons because of animation, it will be better if the collisions was a little smaller
was a really fun time. I liked the Super Meat Boy approach of some challenging rooms. Will say, some hitboxes felt a little weird with like the spikes and such, but I assume that was for the challenge factor. Great job
I really enjoyed it! everything felt very tactical and intuitive, the music was also great. My only critique was the sections where the obstacles were on the next page so you couldn't see what you were going to hit
I just beat it! Hit boxes are a bit evil but other than that the game is practically immaculate.
I was surprised by how many times the level design kept weaving back into itself in cool and intuitive ways. This is an impressive effort that effectively amounts to a mini Metroidvania platformer.
I also appreciate how it approaches its main gameplay mechanic, interacting with bubbles, in diverse ways.
I would be remiss in not giving a shoutout to the music that perfectly matched the game's atmosphere and minimalistic tone. The music evolves in interesting ways as you progress throughout. The music really helped certain moments of the game feel important.
The visual minimalistic approach was leveraged to create a surprising amount of world-building. the muted garish tones make its environment feel cold and hostile to the player.
This is an extraordinary result despite being made under tight constraints of just 48 hours. Great work!

To me the great game was over too quickly, but it was an amazing game while it lasted.

Love the game! Slightly new concept and mechanics
What a fun, simple, yet intriguing mechanic! The difficulty was definitely on point at being challenging but not too hard. Good job

The reason probably is that later in the game, you can use up to steer the bubble.

BRDBLS Bird & Bubbles Walkthrough
I'm always amazed by what is made by the Super Try team. Keep it up!
